Sustainable Technologies and Health

Community vulnerability to climate change is increasing at a rapid pace. With a rising awareness of the impact that businesses have on our planet, we are seeing a boom in entrepreneurial activity based on social responsibility, sustainability practices, energy efficiency, and human health.

These ventures may provide solutions to some of our most urgent problems, yet often face a significant barrier to securing startup funding—protecting human health and the environment while maintaining profitability carries a financial risk many investors want to avoid. That’s why we train investors, government officials, and academics to help entrepreneurs gain access to funding to launch their innovative, sustainable business ideas.

We also work with communities to assess and create innovation ecosystems, which provide the conditions needed to develop and launch new technologies.

Through this program, we create bridges between entrepreneurs and the investment community as well as identify and share innovations that can be used to improve the health of people and the environments in which we live.
